Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using Staytim. By accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by these terms.

1. About Staytim

Staytim provides AI-powered customer communication tools for small businesses. Our service allows businesses to set up an automated AI assistant that handles customer inquiries, follow-ups, and related tasks.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and operating a legitimate business to use Staytim. By using our services you represent that all information you provide is accurate and truthful.

3. Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Please notify us immediately at hello@staytim.io if you suspect unauthorized access.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Staytim to:

• Send spam or unsolicited communications
• Harass, mislead, or deceive your customers
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Impersonate another person or business
• Engage in any fraudulent activity

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

5. AI Assistant Limitations

Our AI assistant is powered by Anthropic's Claude and is designed to assist with customer communication. You acknowledge that:

• AI responses may occasionally be inaccurate or incomplete
• You are responsible for reviewing your assistant's setup and the information it provides
• Staytim is a tool to assist your business, not a replacement for human judgment

6. Payment and Billing

Paid plans are billed monthly. Your free trial lasts 30 days — no credit card required to start. After your trial, you will need to subscribe to continue using the service. All payments are processed securely through Stripe.

We do not offer refunds for partial months, but you may cancel at any time and your service will continue until the end of your billing period.

7. Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time with no cancellation fees. Upon cancellation your account will remain active until the end of your current billing period. You may request deletion of your data by contacting us.

8. Intellectual Property

Staytim and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Staytim and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of all business information and content you provide to us.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

Staytim is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that results from using the service will meet your specific expectations.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Staytim shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of our services.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
